:::::: MAGIC HAT VIP BOOTHS ::::::
We’re getting very excited for our Halloween and November 1 shows with the METER MEN – featuring Leo Nocentelli, Zigaboo Modeliste & George Porter Jr of THE METERS and Page McConnell of PHISH. Now, we’re teaming up with MAGIC HAT to make it even greater.

On Wednesday, October 10 at 12 noon ET we will release a VERY, VERY LIMITED number of 4 and 6-person booths on Ticketmaster that we’re calling the MAGIC HAT VIP BOOTH EXPERIENCE. The 4-person booths will cost $50.50 per ticket, you’ll need to buy all 4. The 6-person booths will cost $47 per ticket, you’ll need to buy all 6.

You and your friends will have the only reserved seating in the venue, and our friends at Magic Hat are throwing in a bucket of 6 Magic Hat bottled beers plus some cool goodies for the table. Booths will be “first come, first seated” – so come early to get the best of the booths after you buy. VIP booth seating is all ages and, as always, we will check the IDs of those drinking.

If that wasn’t enough, Magic Hat is also giving away a really sweet guitar to 1 lucky person on Halloween. How are we going to do it? A COSTUME CONTEST!

We just brought DJ COCHON DE LAIT on board for both nights. He’ll spin the best of NOLA brass, funk & soul to make sure the party never stops! On Halloween, we’ll pick some finalists to bring on stage with DJ Cochon de Lait to take your votes for the guitar, so come early to get noticed and make those costumes great!

Halloween will be extra special as we warm things up on 10/31 with FREE ADMISSION to New Orleans Happy Hour with the OUTER BOROUGH BRASS BAND starting at 4pm in Lucille’s Grill- right here at BB King’s. Lucille’s is where we’ll also have MUN and FiKus taking the Halloween party deep into the night after METER MEN wrap things up in the big room.

There are only a few tickets left! But we might have more standing room tickets (or even booths) for sale between now and the show. Keep checking back!

The 12th Annual Winter’s Eve at Lincoln Square

On Monday, November 28, 2011 the Lincoln Square Business Improvement District and presenting sponsor Time Warner will host the Twelfth Annual Winter’s Eve at Lincoln Square – New York City’s largest holiday festival! Winter’s Eve kicks off with a neighborhood tree lighting ceremony and features free entertainment, food tastings, in-store activities and shopping around and about this colorful and vibrant neighborhood.

Stores, restaurants, cultural organizations and public spaces in the district will be buzzing with activities for both children and adults. At the same time, sidewalks along Broadway from Time Warner Center at Columbus Circle to 68th Street will be alive with performers, street musicians, jugglers, stilt-walkers and more, making for a festive fun-filled stroll through the streets of this dynamic Upper West Side neighborhood.

WHEN: Monday, November 28, 2011, 5:30 PM, Rain, Snow or Shine!

WHERE: The celebration begins with a neighborhood tree lighting ceremony at Dante Park at Broadway& 63rd Street and continues along Broadway from Time Warner Center to 68th Street.

Outer Borough Brass Band kicks off the festivities on night two of the Wasabassco Burlesque 7 year anniversary extravaganza!

We will be playing an opening set @ 9:00pm to start the show.

Since it’s inception in 2004, Brooklyn-based Wasabassco Burlesque has set a new standard for glamorous glitz, stupefying showmanship, and staggering sexiness. Friday, November 4th and Saturday, November 5th The Greatest Burlesque Show in the World will present over 40 of Wasabassco’s favorite performers, with over six hours of risqué entertainment guaranteed to blow the roof off The Bell House!

Saturday night features a tattoo-art runway walk of performers deliciously inked by Scarlet Sinclair of Tattoo Ritual and a special appearance by the Outer Borough Brass Band. Both nights are gala events bringing Brooklyn the finest in variety and striptease, from classic go-go entertainment to the best of neo-burlesque.

Wasabassco Burlesque’s 7th Anniversary Extravaganza will be hosted by Doc Wasabassco, Bastard Keith, GiGi La Femme, Nasty Canasta, Sapphire Jones, and Stormy Leather.
